This girl has been known as "Monster"
since birth and more recently "Blondie." She is mounted search
and rescue certified and has traveled all over the United
States performing in Roy Rogers tribute shows. She's even been
in the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas. She is as bombproof as a
horse can be, and anyone can ride her. She's done a little bit
of everything from parades and barrel racing to Limited
Distance endurance rides and long distance trail riding. She
can jump 3 1/2 feet and turn on a dime. I used her for a
lesson horse for awhile and she took good care of everyone put
on her back. She swims, goes through traffic, you name it.
She's beeen clocked at 31 mph on a grass airstrip so she's
true to her Quarter Horse roots I guess. :-) She has traveled
to Woodstock, Illinois to be a teaching horse for hoof
trimming students. Her favorite thing is sloppy wet mud and
water. She can't resist splashing in a puddle or laying down
to roll in a river. What Blondie absolutely hates are bugs,
blankets, and other horses. She has zero tolerance for
anything that bites her, pinches, presses, or invades her
space. When Blondie's happy, EVERYBODY'S HAPPY!
